We are back and in full swing for 2026. We hope you all had a lovely Christmas and New year! Here is a view of Stanley Hill Park in the snow from the window of the archive.
The weather has taken distinctly wintry turn this week, we have still been busy in the archives. It is out first week back after our festive holidays. We started out the week with our lovely Monday Memories group. They were inspired by the change in the weather to reminisce about what they go up to during the winters of their younger years. We had a look through lots of curling pictures, chatted about their amateur ice hockey pursuits, and even some daredevil-esq car driving… It was a great afternoon and fantastic to see everyone again after our holidays.
We have been organising our first events for 2026. Have a look at what we have planned and don’t forget to book tickets (or join as a member of Historic Dunkeld for free access). Tickets for all our events are available via eventbrite.
There is a basics of conservation workshop taking place in march in Birnam with the Scottish Council on Archives. If you are interested in taking part in this free workshop, you can book tickets via this link.
