This week there was lots happening in the archive. We started with Monday memories paying us a visit and having a look through our newspaper scrapbooks.

We then had a very busy day with lots of volunteers on Wednesday, our archaeology and history club were processing lots of finds from our St Jerome’s excavation. The finds washing is a crucial part of the post excavation process, thank you to the group for popping in to help out.  We also had our volunteer Sharon researching as part of our Shops and Houses project, Sharon managed to find some really interesting information about 19 Cathedral street which you will be able to see in our upcoming exhibition.

The Climate Cafe utilised our building for their Thursday meeting. It was fantastic to combine with another local organisation to hear new opinions and learn about their ongoing work, we look forward to continuing this partnership.

There has been lots going on with our events planning for our Jacobite festival, Public Consultation, and shops and houses events. These will all be taking place between the 21st and 23rd of August. All booking links for Jacobite festival events can be found via our eventbrite page.

Our public consultation event will be taking place in the evening on the 22nd of August from 5pm to 8pm. Join us in the archive to share your thoughts and opinions and find out about what we have planned for our organisational development. There will be wine, nibbles, and music from Plaidsong.

Our Shops and Houses project will be available to view during both of these events!
