Thank you to everyone that attended the fantastic 1950s, 60s, and 70s school reunion last week. Everyone had a fantastic time and a  good catch up with lots of their old school friends. Have a look through the gallery below to see some more pictures from the event.

After the exciting weekend, we were back bright and early on Monday morning to kick start another busy and exciting week. We had Monday Memories join us in the afternoon for a fun session reminiscing and chatting after the school reunion which many of the group had attended.

We had a skills session on Thursday with Dr Lucy Dean from UHI on Palaeography, the study of old Handwriting. This session was part funded by the Society of Antiquaries for Scotland, a big thank you to them for their help in hosting this fabulous workshop in Dunkeld. This session was an excellent introduction to reading old documents and provided some helpful tips and tricks to identify the type of document you are working with.

Our first living history event of 2026 is taking place this Saturday and Sunday, the 2nd and 3rd of May.
