Monday Memories started our week off with an excellent session, the focus still remains on School reunion prep as the event is on Saturday the 25th of April! Tickets are still available online or in person from Dunkeld Community Archive.

Our audit assistant Kate had a busy day on Thursday, she went on a visit to the Highland Archive Centre to learn about the basics of paper conservation with High Life Highland’s senior conservator Richard Aitken. This was a fantastic opportunity for Kate to learn about the basic skills required to undertake preventative conservation work on the collection back in Dunkeld. She had a really interesting day, a big thank you to Richard and the other staff at the Highland Archive Centre for hosting Kate for this training session. If you would like to find out more about the Highland Archive centre or the collections that they hold, you can do so via this link.
