We have been getting ready for tourist season beginning this week. The easter holidays are upon us and with that comes the increase in visitor numbers many museums and visitor centres experience in the warmer months.
We started the week as we always do with our Monday Memories Reminiscence group. The members have been looking through the collection of photographs from the Royal School of Dunkeld to identify more potential photographs for the School Reunion afternoon tea this month.
Tickets are available for the school reunion in person from the archive or online from Eventbrite. Click this link to purchase. The reunion will be held in the guide hall Little Dunkeld on the 25th of April from 2pm-4pm.
Next week we are hosting our final two events with writer in residence Elizabeth Kostova, we have some final tickets remaining so grab them while you can!
Our volunteers have been working on a variety of tasks this week from front of house to visiting other archives to gather information for our heritage lottery project. Robyn paid a visit to perth archives to explore their property and census records to expand our knowledge of the properties being researched as part of our national Heritage lottery funded project.
