We will start this week’s update by saying thank you to everyone who attended our archaeology and history club talk last Friday with Lindsey Gibb. Thank you to the Dunkeld and Birnam Friends of Asheville for their support during Elizabeth’s stay and to the Asheville Sister Cities for Funding the writer in residence post which Elizabeth is filling (the very first of its kind to take place in the area).
Monday memories had a lovely time looking through photographs from the school again, thank you to those who answered last week when we questioned the location of the teacher’s photograph. We now think it shows the house behind nursery cottage in Little Dunkeld!
We have had even more volunteer and membership sign ups this week! We are so happy to see people getting involved with our clubs and organisation and are always super excited to meet more of you. If you’d like to find out more about how to get involved with us visit our what’s on and support us pages to find out more.
Our volunteers have been hard at work this week digitising and researching properties for our project for this year. We are still gathering info for the selected properties so if you have any information or would like to get involved in the research process please get in touch.

Did you miss the chance to attend our public consultation in January? Don’t worry you can still share your thooughts ideas and opinions with us via our new online form. This is a series of short questions and should take less than 5 minutes to fill in. Don’t worry if you don’t have an answer for all of them, any feedback helps our redevelopment process.
