This week held some sad news, we were very saddened to learn of the recent passing of one of the most important figures in the Chapter House Museum Trust & Dunkeld Community Archive – former volunteer and dedicated researcher Eileen Cox. After the success of our events with the Glasgow Vikings last week and the beginning our summer living history events (more info avaliable from our what’s on page ) we have had a quieter week.
Midweek memories had a lovely time naming school photographs on monday!
We have been researching and designing in preparation for our change of exhibtion for the summer months, we have had several loans from kind members of the public to contribute to our display and look forward to sharing it with you all.
Our volunteer Lynn has had great success researching a Victorian Christening gown, we can’t wait to show you the information soon!
